Hello,

I just purchased Jlex Review and it has so many options (maybe too many for us)!

So far, we have not been able to make the correct selections in the backend to get the desired results on the front end.

We have read the online documentation and viewed a set-up video, but both are out of date (your current product does not look like the documentation).

—>  We want a reviewer to give ratings of several sub-categories that are then averaged into the 1-5 star review.  Example:  Users rate a service overall 1-5 stars, by giving a separate rating on sub-categories of Courtesy, Quality, Promptness, and Integrity.  Then, of course, this user’s rating is shown, and we also see the average of all reviews from all users are shown for the item being rated, also.

On your demo site there is a set of criteria that users rate one by one (Features, Support, Price, Control Panel, and Reliability), and these are then averaged into a star rating from the individual reviewer for the item rated.  We want something like this but with our own set of selections.

On our site, it looked like the user could provide an overall 1-5 star rating in the Rating Summary, and then there was another rating just called “rating” that they could rate or skip, and this rating appears in the user’s review, but it has nothing to do with the overall rating they just provided.  A user can give 5 stars on the Rating Summary and 1 star in this other rating that appears meaningless.

Please provide instructions on how to use the Jlex Review admin panel to enable a user to give star ratings for several sub-categories such as Features and Support, and show the average of those ratings in the review.

Your help is appreciated.
