Hi,
I'm using JLEX Review on a Joomla 5 site alongside GSD by Tassos (a Schema.org plugin that already generates an Article schema for my article pages).
Your documentation states:
"In case the page already have a Schema and you just want to insert the aggregateRating property, you need to insert the review body in that element that assigned this schema. Also GOTO Configuration > Advanced > Only Average Rating: Yes."
I have enabled the "Only Average Rating" option, but Google Search Console is still reporting an error: missing "itemReviewed" field, which means JLEX is outputting a standalone AggregateRating schema instead of embedding it inside the existing Article schema generated by GSD.
Could you please clarify:
1. What exactly does "insert the review body in that element that assigned this schema" mean in practice? Which element/selector should I target?
2. How does JLEX detect the existing schema generated by GSD and embed the aggregateRating property inside it, rather than outputting a separate <script type="application/ld+json"> block?
3. Is there a specific CSS selector or configuration step needed on the GSD side as well?
Thank you!
Miltos
