URGENT
I am currently unable to upgrade from Joomla 5 to Joomla 6 with jLexComments 3.7.6 installed.

It appears that version 3.7.6 still references legacy Joomla classes that depend on the Backward Compatibility plugin, which must be disabled before upgrading to Joomla 6.

This dependency is preventing me from proceeding with the upgrade.

Would it be advisable to downgrade to jLexComments 3.7.5 to ensure full Joomla 5 compatibility before attempting the Joomla 6 upgrade?  If so where can i get a copy of v3.7.5?

Alternatively, is there a known workaround or an updated version of jLexComments that resolves these legacy class dependencies and supports upgrading from Joomla 5 to Joomla 6?

I would appreciate any guidance on the recommended upgrade procedure, particularly as preserving all existing comments and their associations with articles and users is essential.
